This month hasn't been the most productive month art wise, but definitely in terms of writing, it does help a lot that I'm in writing focused classes right now lol. Sometimes I like to take a break from art to focus on my other creative outlets. I have been slacking a bit in updating this website though, well to be fair there hasn't been many major things to update.
Winter time is one of the hardest times of year for me, cause like many others, I experience seasonal depression, so I'm not the most productive or creative during this time of year. Looking at the falling snow makes me want to nap rather than do anything else lol. My school's winter semester feels like the longest one, not in a good way, but at the very least my classes are much more enjoyable this semester than last semester.
There hasn't been much to add to this monthly blog post, after all it is only the beginning of the year, but I'm hoping to stick to my New Year's resolution of publishing an essay to my Substack every other month or a fic every other month. It depends on my mood that month, sometimes the fixation takes over and I end up with a surprisingly decent fic draft when I least expect it.
In terms of art, I hope to one day make more progress on my object gijinkas website and post gijinka art there (once I have more gijinka art to share lmao) And I will link my other socials to my home page since I've started posting publicly to Tumblr and Twitter again
